Getting started
What you need to join
We check these before you can accept work. It protects the customers, and it protects the drivers who do hold their paperwork.
Your licence
A driver's licence valid for the vehicle you operate.
Your vehicle
Registration in your name, or documented authority to operate it.
Your insurance
Motor cover as Zimbabwean law requires, including any cover needed for carrying goods for reward.
Your ID
National ID, so we know who is turning up at a customer's door.
Worth being clear about
You would be an independent contractor, not an employee. There is no employment, agency or partnership between you and FAST. You are responsible for your own tax and your own insurance.
Our document check is an administrative one. It does not make us responsible for your vehicle, your driving or your compliance, and it is not a substitute for your own cover. This is set out in section 9 of the Terms of Service.

Before you sign up
What does the subscription cost?
There are several lengths, from a single trip up to a year, so you can start small and move up once the work is coming. Current prices are shown in the driver app before you buy anything.
How do I get paid?
The customer pays you directly, in cash, when the job is done. It does not pass through us, so there is nothing to wait for and no payout schedule.
What if I do not work for a while?
Nothing happens. Go offline for as long as you like. When your subscription lapses you stay signed in and keep your history, you just stop receiving job requests until you renew.
Can I refuse a job?
Always. You can ignore a request, decline it, or counter with a different price. Nothing is allocated to you.
How long does approval take?
As long as it takes us to check your documents, usually a day or two. You will be told if something is unclear or has expired rather than left waiting.
